Robbie Williams Sony Radio Awards

Robbie Williams speaks his mind at the Sony Radio Academy Awards

Robbie had a dig at Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw over the station’s refusal to play his hit, Candy. He said: “Radio 1 don’t play me any more, ‘You’re fat and old’. Ain’t that right, Nick? You b*****d.” He was introduced on stage by Noah, the four-year-old son of the event’s host, Chris Evans, Williams said: “Candy — how four year old do you want it, Radio 1?”
Robbie has returned to Radio 1 with his latest single Goin’ Crazy, a duet, he said: “I’ve been allowed back on Radio 1 with Dizzee Rascal, so thanks for that. Not that it keeps me awake at nights thinking about it.”

My thought of the day.....
What is the Radio 1 Breakfast show like these days?
Nick Grimshaw....?
